PraiSingers

PraiSingers is the adult Choral Ministries Team here at Cornerstone. This exciting musical group sings in the Celebration Services on Sunday mornings almost every month. But it is much more than a group of singers with high standards– it is a ministry of worship, doing God’s work through music, whether it is the celebration of the Christmas season, rejoicing at Easter, or during our special “Night of Praise” every quarter of the year. If you want to be a part of a loving, caring, ministering group, if you want to feel the gladness of singing the Lord’s praise, then we have a seat and a folder full of music waiting for you. We rehearse Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm. There are no auditions and you don’t have to be an experienced singer...all you need is to come, add your unique voice and heart for worship, and share the joy of family!

Celebration Singers

The Celebration Singers Student Choir, formed in December of 2000, exists to allow students in grades 6-12 to use their musical talents and abilities to glorify God, edify believers, and evangelize to the world. Lead by Pastor Eddie and talented vocal teachers Kelli Airheart, Laura Kent, Alicia Wingfield, Dale Cook, Marybeth Norcross, Michael Bartholmey, Gail Hayden, Sharon Schulte and James Warlick, students are challenged in the Word and through music to live lives of excellence and to grow in their faith and love for God. Students are held to high standards of musical performance and moral conduct. Musically, they sing selections from every musical genre, from classical to contemporary and strive not only for precision and beauty of sound, but to sing "to the Lord...from the heart." The Celebration Singers perform in a variety of venues, from Sunday morning specials to Mission Tours across the country. They meet Mondays from 6:00-7:00pm. Membership is open to all students, grades 6-12. We've got a place for you to be vocal about your faith too!
