Children at Cornerstone

Cornerstone offers two worshipping times on Sunday mornings: 9:00 and 10:30 a.m.  During the 9:00 a.m. service, we have childcare from birth through pre-K. We do not have elementary classes during the 9:00 a.m. service, but you are more than welcome to have your children - any age - remain with you during the entirety of the worship service.

During the 10:30 a.m. service, we offer classes from birth through 5th grade. Pre-K and younger will check in by entering through entrance B and proceed to the preschool area.  Kindergarten through 5thgrade students will check in through entrance A.  If you have children in both age ranges, you can check them all in at any check-in station.

On Wednesdays, we offer Cornerstone Kids, our weekly Children's program for K-5th grade students. It runs from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in The Big Room. Check-in at entrance A.  Each Wednesday night, kids sing, do crafts, play games, and learn deep truths about Jesus and the Word of God.

Throughout the year, Cornerstone offers other fun and Christ honoring activities for children and families.  We have glow nights, family water days, holiday events, Christmas in July, and VBS each June.

Seasonal Children’s Choir

Sundays, 5:30-6 pm: Children who are present for LifeGroup childcare on Sunday evenings will have a new opportunity to worship through song. Starting October 6, children 4 and up will learn and practice three Christmas songs. Children will be a part the worship service at Christmas time. There is no fee or sign up. If your children want to participate but you do not attend a LifeGroup on Sunday nights, you would simply need to bring your children to the Big Room a little before 5:30 and pick them up promptly at 6:00pm.

American Heritage Girls / Trail Life

On the second and fourth Mondays of the month, the American Heritage Girls meet.  AHG is a faith-based, scout-type character development program for girls that started in 1995. The AHG Program is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. AHG girls across the nation and the globe participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement.

Cornerstone has recently chartered a Trail Life troop (AR-1711).  Trail Life is Christian scouting organization where boys thrive! Adults are equipped to lead a program in a structured outdoor environment where boys are engaged in real-world challenge and experience camping, hiking, and fishing; they develop skills in riflery, archery, and canoeing;  and learn character and leadership in a practical hands-on manner that is naturally engaging.
