Easter Week

No time of year brings into focus the true meaning of the life and ministry of Jesus quite like Easter.  Below, you can read about the schedule of events planned at Cornerstone to help each person connect with Jesus Christ and His church at this most holy time.

Tree at Night

Palm Sunday

Preschool and elementary students will celebrate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus with real palm branches and a song during the Worship Service. Children will be practicing their song Sunday mornings during Wee Praise or Sunday School and Wednesdays at DEEP.

Christian Seder

The Seder is the Jewish passover meal.  On Thursday, March 28th, at 6:30 pm, we will celebrate a Christian version of this event.  This is a great way to see the connection between Christian faith and Judaism as well as passing history to our children.  Space is limited, so you must register by clicking here

Egg Hunting
Community Egg Hunt

Families are invited to worship our risen Savior, hunt eggs, enjoy some of God’s cutest creatures at a petting zoo, and eat lunch at our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Our family worship service still start on March 30th in the Worship Center (Entrance B) at 10:30 AM. This year we’ll feature Cockrill’s Critters’ Petting Zoo after the Egg Hunt. Enjoy lunch and fellowship while you wait to have a turn to enjoy the petting zoo. All FREE! Rain or shine!

Easter Sunday

Join us Sunday, March 31st, at either 9:00 or 10:30 am to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ!  We will have a nursery for children up to kindergarten in both services and kid's classes for elementary age students during the 10:30 am service.  If you are a guest, please just follow the guest parking signs and then one of our volunteers will help you find your way in the building.
