Easter Week
No time of year brings into focus the true meaning of the life and ministry of Jesus quite like Easter. Below, you can read about the schedule of events planned at Cornerstone to help each person connect with Jesus Christ and His church at this most holy time.
Palm Sunday
Services will begin at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, each service will feature a performance from our Seasonal Children's Choir. And our preschool and elementary students will celebrate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus with real palm branches.
Good Friday
Join us on Friday, April 18 at 7:00 PM as we observe our Good Friday service. During this service, we will examine the night of Jesus’ betrayal leading up to his crucifixion. We will examine all that Jesus did with his disciples through the lens of John 13-17.
This will be a solemn service and a time of reflection. It will serve as a reminder of the seeming defeat of Christ prior to the celebration of the resurrection on Sunday.
Childcare for pre-school will be available.
Community Egg Hunt
Families are invited to worship our risen Savior, hunt eggs, enjoy some of God’s cutest creatures at a petting zoo, and eat lunch at our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Our family worship service still start on April 19 in the Worship Center (Entrance B) at 10:30 AM. This year we’ll feature Cockrill’s Critters’ Petting Zoo after the Egg Hunt. Enjoy lunch and fellowship while you wait to have a turn to enjoy the petting zoo. All FREE! Rain or shine!
Easter Sunday
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with us on Sunday, April 20th! Services will be held at 9:00 and 10:30 AM. We will have a nursery for children up to kindergarten in both services and kid's classes for elementary age students during the 10:30 am service. If you are a guest, please just follow the guest parking signs and then one of our volunteers will help you find your way in the building.
