24 hour prayer room

We long for our prayer room to be a quiet refuge where God’s presence feels near, our prayers unite with others, and we stand as watchmen seeking His movement in our lives, church, and world.

“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set Watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent.” Isaiah 62:6

Testimonials

It went by so very quickly, I prayed for guidance before coming. As I walked around the room I tried to find God's direction. I came across the station asking for God's will be done. I found that this station helped me focus my prayers for me, our elders, brothers, sisters, children and leaders as a nation. Jesus asked God for strength to do His will. I will continue to pray for God's will be done.

What an awesome experience! I'm so glad I already signed up for more hours or I would be extra sad that my hour ended so quickly. I think it's a special privilege and opportunity to be provided this sweet space to sit with the Lord. When I come back later in the week, I think it will bless my soul to see more post-it's and more of the maps highlighted. I can't wait!

Today was my time in the 24/7 prayer room, there was so much peace and quietness that allowed you to hear the voice of God, and read the cry outs for prayer. We tend to think of only our prayers and forget others. But today is was much different, with great attention so much love and prayer has gone into creating this space for prayer. I am encouraged to go home and create a space like this in my home. We need this all the time.

Wow. I have been on sacred, holy ground. What an amazing, worshipful experience and what a beautiful setting. Thank you, thank you for providing such a well-thought through, deep, and meaningful prayer experience.

Other prayer opportunities

Boiler Room Graphic.png

Charles Spurgeon, the 19th-century “prince of preachers,” saw thousands come to Christ and attributed his ministry’s power to faithful prayer. During every sermon, a group would gather in the boiler room to pray.

Inspired by that legacy, we began a similar prayer effort last year. We long to see a mighty work among our people and throughout our communities. As we gather faithfully to pray over every person who comes on campus and all those leading them, we seek the power of God to do that work. We believe that God will not only hear and respond to the prayers of His people but that as we pray He will be growing us more deeply into people of prayer. Our hope (and prayer) is that God will expand the borders of this ministry. That we would outgrow our closet and be looking for more space to contain all the people across our entire church who have a deep desire to stand watch and cry out to God to move among us in ways we can’t even ask or imagine. That our people would be moved to hold our pastor, worship leaders, teachers and greeters up in prayer as they serve so they are supernaturally equipped to do so.

May we be a humble people, wholly reliant on God, so we might one day be called repairers of the breach, rebuilders of broken walls.
